Find Cheap Travel Trailers Right Around The Corner At Rv Repo Auctions

Posted on

In the current difficult economic times, it is becoming increasingly attractive for RVers to find cheap travel trailers. If you’ve been dreaming of hitting the open road, a used travel trailer is the best way to go. How much money you will need in your budget depends greatly on where you purchase.

Buying directly from an owner through a classified ad is the most common route for potential travel trailer seekers. While you are likely to find one in a reasonable condition, you are unlikely to be getting a cheap deal. Most owners are selling to pay off their financial obligations or are trying to get as much extra cash as possible.

In today’s modern society, we have the superb resource of the internet that can provide us with almost any information that we require. Finding cheap travel trailers is no exception. If you would still like to pursue the purchase from an owner, you could search Craigslist or do a Google search for any private websites that are selling a travel trailer in your area.

Another option worth considering is an online auction or a public auction in your near vicinity. The easiest way to find RV repo auctions is joining a website that actively searches out auctions, and collects and categorizes them for you. You may be surprised at how many auctions are held right there in your city. The website can give you details of when and where the auction will take place, and the type of items to be sold.

This will be your best source to find cheap travel trailers. Vehicles/trailers have incredibly low prices, simply to ensure that they are sold on the day of the auction. They are most likely repossessed from owners who have defaulted on their payments, and need to be sold to make up for the financial loss of the organization and to avoid storage costs.

To ensure that you are getting a good deal for the travel trailer, you should get an idea of it’s actual value by consulting a buying guide. In most cases, you will see that the trailer is being sold at way below the trade-in value.

Remember, with an RV it’s critical to save your money up front on the purchase. Don’t try to recoup at the sale. Thoroughly research all your options and decide which one will get you the best deal on cheap travel trailers. Then, enjoy the trip and the remarkable amount of money you’ve saved.

New Hyatt Wailea Maui Hotel To Open For Beach Weddings In 2013

Posted on

Hawaii is to receive a new Hyatt-branded hotel after Hyatt Hotels and Resorts announced that they will be opening the new Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort & Spa in Spring, 2012.

The new hotel will be located on Mokapu and Ulua Beach on the island of Maui, which is a hotspot for idyllic beach weddings, and Michael Stephens has been named as the General Manager.

Set upon 15 acres of land, the new Hyatt resort will take over the hotel that was once the Wailea Renaissance resort. This is the first Andaz-branded property to be built in Hawaii and the brand embraces local culture into its dcor, food and events.

The Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort & Spa will have 325 rooms and suites, a lavish 15,000-quare-foot spa, and 12,000-square-feet of event and meeting space, making it the perfect venue for destination weddings of any size.

Mokapu and Ulua Beach has been a popular setting for romantic beach weddings for many years and the new resort is expected to attract many couples planning on getting married abroad in Hawaii in the near future.

All beaches in Hawaii are open to the public and Mokapu and Ulua Beach is likely to see an increase in visitors once the new hotel is open for destination weddings.

General Manager of Hawaiian Style Weddings, Jana Rothernberg, commented: I think this has been the ideal location for beach weddings on Maui. The location has been un-crowded since the closure of the Wailea Renaissance hotel. Being on the south end of the Island means ideal weather and beautiful sunsets. This will certainly change next year when the Andaz resort opens its doors.
Hawaii is a fantastic destination for island weddings thanks to its idyllic surroundings, a tropical climate and a variety of luxurious hotels and facilities that are available to the bride and groom and their guests.

Hawaiis five main islands Kauai, Maui, Oahu, the Big Island and Molokai – offer plenty of settings for romantic ceremonies such as white sandy beaches against the backdrop of the sparkling turquoise ocean, a wooden gazebo in fragrant tropical gardens, or under an arch that has been decorated with native colourful flowers.

Stay In A Cozy Fajardo Inn And Enjoy Puerto Rico’s Best Beaches

Posted on

There’s no reason for any American who can afford to travel to not give Puerto Rico a try. The territory, located southeast of Florida, is referred to by many jet setters as the most exciting in the Caribbean. After all, the U.S. wouldn’t have to go through all the trouble with waging the 1898 war with Spain if La Isla del Encato, or the Island of Enchantment in English, is not worth keeping.

At present, Puerto Rico remains as a U.S. territory with a strong industrial economy. Annually, it receives as much as 5 million tourists, mostly Americans via cruise ships. To fully experience the atmosphere of the islands, staying at an inn in Fajardo, the easternmost city in the island of Puerto Rico and a 45 minute drive away from the capital city of San Juan, is ideal.

Although the entire territory is blessed with biodiversity, the mangrove forest in Fajardo’s Bio-Luminescent Bay tops the list of most interesting and unique experiences in the entire Carribean. Nightly tours can be arranged through the preferred Fajardo inn where one is staying at.

The tour is an hour and a half kayak ride through the forest by the bay, where planktons glow brightly when the water is disturbed. An additional day trip to nearby El Yunque Rainforest can be arranged for as well. El Yunque is a 28,000 acre tropical rain forest that is 3,500 feet high. Be prepared for rains as the area receives more than 100 billion gallons of water per year.

Of course, no trip to Puerto Rico would be complete without enjoying a whole day spent on the beach. Fajardo’s Seven Seas Beach is a Blue Flag beach that hosts water sports facilities for snorkeling, sailing and scuba diving. For those who prefer secluded beaches, Fajardo serves as a port to Culebra archipelago, which hosts world-renowned beaches like Playa Flamenco.

Many U.S. cities offer direct flights to San Juan’s Luis Muoz Marn and travel time can be as short as 2.5 hours from Miami to 7.5 hours from Los Angeles. For more information on Puerto Rico tourism, visit seepuertorico.com.

Spending Christmas In A Holiday Lodge

Posted on

The main benefit of being away from home is the wonderful fact of putting all chores on hold for the duration; a significant plus to anyone who has laboured mightily on Christmas Day, barely snatching ten minutes to listen to the Queens Speech before collapsing in an exhausted heap and going to bed before the children!

Amongst the drawbacks are that spending Christmas away from home can induce homesickness and the general unfamiliarity with foods and traditions can be a problem; even something as simple as knowing where the milk and sugar are for that necessary cup of tea! Sun-worshippers may like the idea of lying on a beach somewhere, sipping a tropical cocktail while snow and robins are the furthest thing from their minds; however many people prefer to stay in the United Kingdom for Christmas, if for no other reason than to have authentic Christmas weather, maybe even a snow flurry or two to create picturesque tableaux. Another drawback could be that family pets will need to be catered for, either at a boarding facility or having someone pet-sit for them.

Norfolk lends itself admirably to being the location for a holiday away from home; particularly one of the holiday lodges available in the area. Norfolk is absolutely beautiful; miles of flat countryside which should be dull but are not due to the wonderful diversity of plant, animal and birdlife to be found in the area. Rolling heaths interspersed with the occasional evergreen, windmill or church spire are plentifully watered by the many rivers and waterways that provide a vital ecosystem for the birds that flock here from all over the world. Coastal paths and the seaside do not have to be the property of summertime only; wintry walks will reveal a precious private shore life not hinted at in tourist-busy summer.

Many of the lodges come with a housekeeping service meaning that the family can go out for a lovely morning walk to explore the area or stock up on snacks and treats and come back to find everything beautifully clean and tidy. The lodge will provide sufficient privacy for everyone to relax and feel properly at home, in a way not always possible in a hotel or even at a relatives house. Imagine snuggling down in front of a genuine wood-fire on Christmas Eve, the flames sparkling off the tinsel and baubles, beautifully cosy while the frosty wind whistles outside what better setting for the best family Christmas ever? Some lodges may even have a provision for pets to accompany their owners; how wonderful to have the whole family all together for one of the best days of the year.

Norfolk holiday lodges at Christmas can provide a wonderful setting for a memorable holiday, a time of laughter, relaxation, family fun and giving magic!

Can Holiday Allowance Affect Employee Motivation

Posted on

Here in Britain we are slowly returning to work after the extended weekend that comes around every August. The Bank Holiday gives everyone a chance to enjoy a bit of extra time in the summer sun which should get us all ready for the build up to the next break we’ll get at Christmas. In Britain we face the very unusual situation of offices being either depleted or completely empty for much of August and the week over Christmas, but do our holidays make us more motivated at work?

An interesting article on the BBC website explores the freedoms we have with our holidays in Britain compared with the much shorter, and in some cases non existent holidays employees are granted in the USA. It would appear from reading the article that the US is the only country out of the top 21 richest in the world not to impose a legal mandate on employers granting time off. But what does this do to employee motivation? Do us Brits find ourselves more motivated as a result of our holidays or does the time they take up interfere with overall productivity?

There will be many views from many quarters arguing the merits or otherwise of employee holidays, but their effect on motivation should not be ignored. The idea of holiday allowance being awarded on merit or as a result of long service is one that may appeal to some companies as a way of offering an incentive to workers. But rather than motivating junior employees, could this approach just lead to staff resenting those co-workers who have holiday allowances that they don’t?

Burnout is also a factor in employees’ holiday as a well deserved break from work can ease stress levels and allow staff time away from the stresses and strains of work. Although work levels may be hit while employees take holiday, there is surely an argument that productivity levels out when compared with stressed, tired and unmotivated staff who have not been granted holiday.

There is no doubt that employees in Britain are lucky when it comes to their holiday allowance, and changes in the law over the years have made it a much fairer working environment for employees with rights and privileges that have never been seen before.

Employee motivation is now key, with bosses realising that they will get more out of a happy and rewarded workforce than by cracking the whip. Indeed, employee motivation is now big business, with strategies and award schemes being established to offer employees incentives and rewards for improving their work.

This British approach to working practices has done well to survive given the increasing use of American corporate motivation practices by UK firms. It would appear that whatever practices are adopted over here, there’s nothing that will ever stop us from enjoying our holiday.

Begin Your Caribbean Adventure By Walking Around The Cayman Islands

Posted on

If you are looking for the ideal holiday then why not book to stay on the Cayman Islands. From your base there you can start your Caribbean adventure by walking in George Town which is the capital of the Cayman Islands. The instructions provided below will allow you to explore George Town and get a feel for the culture of the Cayman Islands.

To begin your walk, make your way over to the Old Courts Building, which is now known as the Cayman Islands National Museum. The museum contains a number of different exhibits which help to tell the story of the natural and cultural history of the islands.

Moving on from that, on Harbour Drive which takes you past the cruise dock is the beautiful Elmslie Memorial Church which was constructed by Captain Rayal Bodden. If you make a right turn, next to the car park, are old grave markers which look similar to the shapes of houses, with the smaller ones for children, these represent the typical graves of the islands. When you explore further into the churchyard there is the Seamens Memorial which bears the names of 153 Caymanians who have been lost at sea. If you look next to the memorial you can see the remains of Fort George, which was constructed in 1790 to defend against the Spaniards who laid siege to the islands and took prisoners to Cuba.

If you then stroll up Fort Street to the modern Legislative Assembly, which plays host to a wide selection of photos which were taken in the old days, displaying the Town Hall and 1919 Peace Memorial which was next door.

If you look outside the Hall you will find the Clock Tower, which was constructed in the memory of King George V, if you walk across the street you will discover the Public Library that was built in 1939. Furthermore, if you walk up towards the Law Courts sometimes you may be able to see a court in session where you can watch barristers argue in front of the judges.

The Post Office which was also put together by Captain Rayal, can be seen down Edwards Street. Furthermore, if you make your way round the corner of Elgin Avenue and Shedden Road you will discover the traditional cabin-style houses. Finish off your walk at the delightful Panton Square.
